Privacy statement
Intraforks processes personal data of visitors and customers of this website. This statement explains which data that is, why we process it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We follow the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Last updated: 18 September 2026
1. Who processes your data
Intraforks is the controller for the data collected through this website. For questions about this statement or about your data you can reach us in the ways listed below.
2. Which data we process
We only collect data you provide yourself, plus the technical data that every web server records.
- Contact and quote form: your name, email address, phone number, the subject and the content of your message.
- WhatsApp: your phone number, your name as known to WhatsApp, and the content of the conversation.
- Phone and email: the details you mention yourself, such as your name, company name and contact details.
- Offering a machine: in addition, the details of the machine and the photos you send.
- Server logs: your IP address, the time of the visit, the page requested and your browser type.
- Visitor statistics: which pages you view, which website you came from and whether you use a phone or a computer. We do not store your IP address for this and set no cookie. Your visit gets an anonymous code that changes every day, so we cannot follow you across days.
We do not process special categories of personal data and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Why we process your data
We use your data solely for the following purposes, with the legal basis stated for each.
- Answering your question, issuing a quote and carrying out a sale or purchase. Basis: performance of a contract or steps taken prior to it.
- Handling our administration and invoicing. Basis: legal obligation.
- Keeping the website secure and working properly. Basis: legitimate interest.
We do not use your data to send you unsolicited advertising and we never sell your data to third parties.
4. How long we keep your data
We do not keep data longer than is needed for the purpose we received it for.
- Enquiries that do not lead to an order: no more than twelve months after the last contact.
- Data belonging to a sale or purchase: seven years, because of the statutory tax retention period.
- WhatsApp conversations: for as long as the conversation runs and afterwards for as long as our administration requires.
- Server logs: no more than thirty days.
5. Who we share your data with
We share your data only where that is needed to help you, or where the law requires it.
- Our hosting provider, which runs the website and the email.
- The carrier who delivers the machine to you or collects it, limited to the details needed for the delivery.
- Our bookkeeper and the Dutch tax authority, insofar as this is legally required.
- WhatsApp, if you contact us through WhatsApp. That conversation runs via Meta and falls under their own privacy terms.
Beyond these parties we pass nothing on. We use no advertising networks and no parties that track your behaviour. We only provide data to a competent authority upon an explicit and substantiated request from that authority.
6. Cookies
This website places no analytics cookies and no tracking cookies. There is therefore no cookie banner either. There is one functional cookie:
- NEXT_LOCALE: remembers which language you are viewing the website in, so you do not have to choose again on every visit.
The fonts on this website are served from our own server rather than from Google, so your IP address does not reach them. The link to our Facebook page is an ordinary link: nothing is loaded from Facebook unless you click it.
7. Your rights
Regarding the data we process about you, you have the following rights.
- Access: request which data we hold about you.
- Rectification: have incorrect data corrected or completed.
- Erasure: have your data deleted, insofar as we are not legally required to keep it.
- Restriction: have the use of your data temporarily stopped.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Portability: receive your data in a common file format.
- Withdrawal of consent: where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Send a request to our email address. We respond within one month. To avoid handing data to the wrong person, we may ask you to make your identity plausible. We do not ask for a copy of your ID for this.
8. Security
We take appropriate measures to protect your data. The website is only reachable over a secure connection (https) and access to our email and administration is restricted. Do you suspect that your data is not properly secured, or that it is being misused? Please get in touch.
9. Filing a complaint
If you disagree with the way we handle your data, please contact us first so we can resolve it together. You also always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
10. Changes
When the website or the way we work changes, we update this statement. The date at the top of this page shows when that last happened.
